1. I was always being bullied in K1 that my mother transferred me out of that school.*glares at people like sarah*

2. I sleep with lots of soft toys and the oldest one is this rabbit which was given to me by my paternal grandma when I was three. That makes it 18 years old!

3. I am very very very scared of the open sea. Especially those with dark waters. But when Im underwater, the fear disappears.

4. I wanted to eat Bakwa when I was 5 years old and when my father said I cant because we cannot eat pigs I screamed, "Kak Nana nak makan babi!!!" for everyone to hear.

5. When I was a baby I couldnt multi-task ( suffocated when I was drinking from the bottle) and my neighbour said, "This baby very stupid ah." .

6. In JC my mother bought 3 different sizes of skirts for me over the 2 years because she thinks they're too short ( she checks my skirt length every morning without fail) but to no avail. The skirts were either cocked up or I have long legs. HA HA HA.

7. Me and Samsiah ( who is one of my good friends now) hated each other like mad when I was still in Fairfield and she in Crescent. When we came for FOC, we found out that we were in the same group and ROOM! HAHAHA again.

8. I won 2nd in this sajak reading competition in primary school.

9. My ex-boyfriend introduced me to my current boyfriend.

10. I used to read Enid Blyton's books ( especially Famous Five) under my sheets with a torchlight when I was young cos my mum made us sleep by 8pm every night then.

so that was my weekend.very fun! now very fun too lookin at the list of work i have to get done by this week.but it was all worth it except for the fact that i got a freakin bad sore throat and fever which has a free gift called headache due to my role play as a passive smoker on saturday nite. you all better pay for these externalities youve caused me ah!

but nothin beats bein sick at home.it was literally hell for me at aceh when i got sick.

anyways you know how irritatin it is when people judge you rite just by lookin at maybe your pictures or lookin at you. but you still judge people anyways. its like innate or sth in almost everyone of us. well sometimes its necessary. and in some cases you really try very hard not to judge but when presented with some concrete facts you cant help it.well maybe that wont be called judgin at all then.i hate hate hate hate hate it when people judge me and make these assumptions.stups. but i know sometimes i do that too lah.heh.but i hope most of those times i realise it and stop!

i believe in givin people chances.in whatever they do.because i also deserve chances for whatever ive done.but whats really central and of topmost priority to me is that honest relationship and trust of non-betrayal.lyin is sth i cannot take to the max.its sth of those sort which you can forgive but cannot forget.others will not even forgive when it happens again and again and again but naive stupid me will. usually.even if it looks like i dont.i do actually.earnin the trust back if you think im worth is takes a long time.like duh rite?

all i can say bout this event is fun fun fun FUN! ok not to mention tired. a day at the beach in conjunction with ze birthdae celebration for ze january babies. we brought an unbelievable amount of food. we played not so much of beach touch ironically. played grid iron (captain's ball using the rugby ball) , rumah dayak, buried people, slacked at the fabulous new cafedelMar. it was super fun. that i forgot to be tired. almost 5 hrs of playin this and that. the next day verrrrrry can wake up. i certainly hope sth random like this happens again soon and this time the minahs better be able to come along!

It’s been a year already. Omg I’ve actually managed to live through another year! Yes this is my first proper entry Im slow so shoot me. Ok no I dont wanna die yet. Ive been having this stupid cough, dry cough to be exact which comes with a free gift, the headache, for like 2 weeks and its causing me not to be able to have a good sleep!

This year literally ended with a bang. My third trip to Aceh. Haha I know everyone who went said that it’s the best ever but it really is. It opened up my mind it made me realize that so many things actually worth more than I previously thought they do.

Those who truly love me.

My priorities changed.

The physical world somehow didn’t matter that much now. Indulgences they are but they don’t mean the world to me anymore.

God is there with me every step of the way. It’s like he really is. It’s amazing I can’t even put it down in words. Even after all that I’ve done, promises to Him that I’ve broken time and time again. I guess its true they say,

You just gotta have a little faith. =)

I just feel damn lucky and blessed.

Anyways I really think I should change to multiply or at least open a multiply account seeing that this is changing to be a photo blog. It’s really the best way to describe my days. With photos. As I have said a lot of times, I’m the least articulate person you can ever meet. Everything that comes out from my mouth rarely coincides with the thoughts from my brain. Haha.

Anyways I really do not mean to talk again bout the trip but it truly was different. Everything bout it was seriously unexpected. Those who came. Who we met. What we got out of it. The bonds formed. Lessons learnt. Fears faced. The ‘tests’.

I seriously nearly wanted to kiss the floor of Changi Airport if not for the beribu people who were looking at us looking sooooooo excited and in partial shock. Haha.

I miss the kids so much. Seeing Muhajirin again was like a dream come true. I could kiss him you know. Darurat wad. Hehe. And I so didn’t expect to see Karim there. There was one afternoon when we had time to do our own thing so I was walkin along the sawah when Karim walled me to sit with him, Tata and this other kid. They were telling stories so I joined in lah! It was just soooooo simple yet I dunno calm and touching about that whole scene which was set against the settin of the sun actually at the big drain beside the sawah. O.k. I feel tears welling up now. Heh . And there’s also Husaini. The farewell letters that I got from them are all so sweeeeet. I didn’t get many but those I got were quite personalized ( it’s a rare thing ) .

I’m really like glad I went for this trip. Wished Asi could’ve made it but thanks babe for like msging me and all like as if you were there. =) I seriously nearly did not go. Haha wow. But then I bet my mum will think like 4389247683792654738473827 times before letting me go there again after aaaaaalllll that’s happened. Haha too long to share story here. If you wanna know can set up a date with me eh. Haha.

I know a lot of us say they wanna go for these kinda humanitarian-in-a-way trips but never really got to go for some reason or another. As for school well can I just like complain. I hate econometrics to the core. I hate hate hate hate it. But other than that, money and banking seems promising. Love macro. I really should get Freakonomics. I cant wait for my three other happening first lectures tomorrow. International econs. Sociology of Food. and Management and Organisation which I happen to be taking with the unlikely-est people in school ever! Yay! =)) I had a fantastic semester last sem and the best part was my grades improved! So I intend to bring last semester's attitude to this sem and pass them on to those who wants this love. Haha.

i though i was supposed to be waiting for asi to pick me up for brunch at town so i had time to chill before she came. i sat down on my bed getting it all in that im back safe in singapore in one piece that i actually went through all that. i felt so happy and contented at that point of time through it all i thought it couldnt get any better when my mum told me that asi was outside. ape seh cakap lagi 15mins! come in first! so i went to my room to get my bag when i veeerrrry heard a birthday song being sang by what sounded like beribu people! i was beyoond shocked and pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the bestest bunch of girls friends in the whole wide world as ive said a gazillion times. oh ya the theme was breakfast @ tiffany's. hehe.

Had TOUCH RUGBY at NUS field with Hich,Asrie,Fidz,Wan,Val-kephots-miki,Shazu,Sue,Mab and Aidil came for a while.It was super fun! Weather couldnt be anymore perfect though it was a bit too terik towards the end. And people like me and Sue had good tiring workout that we so much needed. I as usual was the nangka busuk of the day as I am any other days I play. The guys were so considerate. Didnt really scream and throw me off the field when I refused to run haha. Abih orang semua tak nak kejar! I really conclude that last minute plans have the best turnup.Haha. Other than my damn teruk physical/speed Im so glad my hands werent flumsy. I once dreamt that I totally forgot how to play like it was alien to me and I woke up crying. Crazy. And Aidil was super cute. Haha he ran damn fast but was a lost sheep. Haha So this Friday people?

So came the 'party' for thosewho'redonewithexams.It was really good to see everyone again without having to talk bout undone assignments and what nots. As you can see above it was wentworthy as we managed to catch one episod. Wish it could be longer. Or say more interaction was done but it was good.I really missed my usual study partners. I think this semester so far felt the best cos of them so I cant imagine what would happen a year from now when the lot maticulates in. Anyways me and the other 2 minahs found this really cool cafe which has a theatre like thingy which actually looks ultra comfy and sells the most yummilicious Nutella ice-cream! And I must check Pluck out soon.

And Im gonna miss my boyfriend. We're not gonna meet for 1/2 a month you see and for the past 3 plus years we've been talkin on the phone almost every single day. But its been amazing really to be reachin right up to this level and beyond. =)

In fact Im gonna miss a lot of other people too and you guys know who you are cos Ive told you already. =)

And Im finally gonna turn 20. So slow lah but really Im dreading it.Haha.I mean I dont wanna change the first digit of my age lah.

Why are they so special you say?

These are the elites of their generation in Aceh. They will be the ones to bring their nation back to life. They have strong faith and serious dreams I know they will achieve. I have faith in them and they give me the faith that things happen for a reason and to hold on strong to your dreams and to never ever give up.They range from 6-18 years of age yet they are more matured than anyone else I know.They bring me back to life, they keep me grounded. My heart feels light when Im with them. When they say thank you I know they mean it and just that gets me smiling for one whole day. I miss singing together with them, teasing each other, how just darn polite they are. Suffice too say, Im glad us happened. And not to forget my teammates who roughed it all out with me here and there with them. This will not end. Love each and every one of you. Its really amazing each time I think of how it started out. =)

This year raya is definately more meaningful with some of the Aceh kids around! Dont they look dashing? Haha. Aceh mats. Anyways I went to Darussalam this year for raya because of them and never would I expect it to be soooo fun! Of course the rest of my girlfriends were there too. But it was different and I loved it. I dont know how to describe the feeling but it was worth waking up so early for.=) I wish the rest of the kids could come. Cant wait for the 4th!!! Asilah Suransi make yourselves free too ok!!
