chocolate for thought

i learnt a lot today..

firstly..the service learning workshop,you see,its not that we do not want to implement it in singapore..we did try didnt we? the clean-the-neighbourhood together with the whole school for example..see we students didnt actually initiate the projects..the teachers did so we jus like go through with it for the sake of doing so..rite? there was no learning involved..ok maybe service ya if the students really did the cleaning up properly..basically service learning is suppose to make studying the conventional chemistry,mathematics,history unconventional...ure suppose to want to learn more through service learning..but not feel as if ure studying...sth like dat..urrgh de headache is somehow making it hard for me to present my POINT articulately..anihoos..point is..students in singapore at least those in my generation are jus obsessed with muggin and muggin and gettin the results they want jus to get on to the next level in which ull start on something new and the muggin starts all over again till uni in which then the discipline that you take will equipt you with ur possible future working enviro knowledge...other than that..you dont actually get to apply apply what you've learnt so far from primary one...like they're not life skills...sad..we're not putting it to practice..(am i blabbering?) i am rite...anyone second my random thoughts though?


anyway...me and asi were so desperately trying to keep ourselves awake during the workshop..haha..after that we went for the injection which we were terrified for cos de doctor looked super rough..but it turned out fine..haha..after that we went for our chocolate treats at coffee club and some stupid cafe at cine...and not to mention talk talk talk talk talk..haha bout past present future...saw her sister..asi! u two have the same smile lah..haha but anyways we were super tired so we walked at njiwreynjcwygre snail speed...nwaes ive jus gotta say that some questions asked were really food for thought for me...or maybe cos of the series of headaches i went thru..because i usually have lotsa things to say to those questions..haha...oh well...
